Who, How and When

The West Edinburgh Link is one of the winners of Sustrans Scotland’s 2017 Community Links PLUS competition, now known as Places for Everyone. Places for Everyone is an opportunity to conceptualise, design and deliver exemplary and inspirational walking, cycling and placemaking projects in Scotland.

Who’s behind the project and how is it funded?

The project is match funded by the Scottish Government and the City of Edinburgh Council.

Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle.

The national transport agency for Scotland funds Places for Everyone through Sustrans Scotland.

Aecom are the design consultants.

Project Timeline

Meet the team

The project team will be attending the Corstorphine Community Council on 21st January at 18 Kirk Loan, EH12 7HD from 7pm to discuss the options for the Parking Restrictions proposed for Gogarloch and South Gyle estates as a result of removing parking from South Gyle Crescent. If you are a resident of the area you are welcome to attend this meeting to meet the team and provide your thoughts.
